How It Works:
The compressor first analyzes your PDF to identify all embedded images and their formats. It then estimates the optimal compression settings based on your target size and applies multi-pass adaptive compression. JPEG images are re-encoded at optimized quality levels, while PNG-like images are converted to efficient JPEG format. The engine also strips metadata, XMP data, embedded thumbnails, and optimizes the PDF structure. Progressive image downscaling is applied when needed for maximum compression.
